G Series Environment-friendly Bio-Based TPU


Mirathane® bio-based TPU is derived from the synthesis of biomass raw materials. It uses renewable materials to replace the components containing active hydrogen compounds in traditional petroleum-based polyurethanes. It is environmental-friendly and has a bio-based content of up to 25~70%. Mirathane® G series is a bio-based TPU product that has similar properties and advantages to traditional petroleum-based TPU. Mirathane® G series is suitable for industrial applications, sports and leisure, and electronic products. The products have been approved by USDA BioPreferred.

Processing Guide

For optimum results, previous drying of the product during 3-4 hours at given temperature in the TDS.

The products can be used for injection molding or extrusion, and please check more details in the TDS.

Handling and Storage

1. Avoid processing material above recommended thermal processing temperatures.

Good general ventilation should be sufficient for most conditions. Consider the use of local exhaust ventilation at processing emission points.

2. Avoid breathing thermal processing fumes and vapors

3. Mechanical handling equipment can cause formation of dust. Avoid breathing dust.

4. Use proper grounding techniques when handling this product to avoid electrostatic charges

5. Pellets on the floor may be slippery and cause falls

Storage recommendations: To maintain product quality, store product in a cool, dry area. Keep in a tightly sealed container.
