MIRAMINE™ PPDA - p-Phenylenediamine
Product Description
Features
PPDA is a white to light red solid. It is the simplest aromatic diamine. Its alkalinity is weaker than ammonia, slightly stronger than aniline, and it is easily to be oxidized.
Application
Used in the production of azo dyes and sulfide dyes, and rubber antioxidants. It also can be used as raw material for gasoline polymerization inhibitors. In the field of polymer, PPDA is mainly used to produce Kevlar 1414 and polyimide. PPDA is also the material for 1,4-phenylene diisocyanate (PPDI).
